A liger is a hybrid offspring between a lion and a tigress and is the largest cat ever to live. It shares its water-loving nature from tigers and its sociability from lions. If a male tiger mates with a female lion, the result will become a tiglon. The first ligers were born at 1823 in England.
Ligers are fed 25 pounds of beef and other types of meat by zookeepers. The liger has no natural prey because none of these cats live in the wild.
Appearance & colorEdit
Ligers have light brown fur of lions and transparent stripes and white undersides of the tiger.
Ligers have no natural threats.
